No. Access to the Beacon by K12 Tutoring pilot is currently free for approved participants.
Q: How can I share feedback about my experience?
Participants should provide weekly feedback directly within the experience by clicking the Leave Feedback button in the upper right corner or from the left-hand navigation panel. Participants can also always leave open feedback by clicking Provide Open Feedback at the bottom of the feedback form.
Q: Will Beacon by K12 Tutoring improve over time based on feedback?
Yes. Feedback from pilot participants helps improve the quality, accuracy, usability, and overall learning experience of Beacon by K12 Tutoring over time.
Q: What are participant responsibilities during the pilot?
Students are expected to engage with Beacon by K12 Tutoring by working on their assignments and using the self-serve homework help and skills sessions. They are also required to provide feedback when requested. Parents/Guardians may be asked to complete optional surveys as well. Educators will also need to provide post-session feedback to support ongoing improvements.
