Your feedback directly shapes how Beacon by K12 Tutoring is built. As an educator in the beta program, you're encouraged to share your experience regularly using the Leave Feedback button — available at any time in the product.
Where to find it Look for the yellow Leave Feedback button in the upper right, or the white Leave Feedback tab on the right-hand banner. Both open the same survey.
How the Survey Works
The feedback survey is progressive — it evolves alongside your experience with the product. Each submission advances you to the next stage, with six stages total covering different aspects of your experience.
One survey per week The survey appears at most once per week. If you dismiss it mid-way through, your progress is saved — click Leave Feedback again to pick up where you left off. Skipping a stage does not advance you to the next one.
Open Feedback
Already completed all six stages, or want to share something specific right now? Use the Provide Open Feedback link at the bottom of the survey window to submit a free-text response at any time. There are no character limits — share as much or as little as you like.
Tips for Useful Feedback
- Be specific — mention the skill, session, or student context where relevant
- If something felt incorrect or off, describe exactly what happened so the team can investigate
- Encourage your students to leave their own feedback too — both perspectives matter
- Questions may change slightly week to week, so it's worth checking back regularly
